The Shipboard Dimensional Analysis Tool (SDAT) uses innovative 3D voxels to enable transportability assessments of vehicle designs aboard naval ships prior to prototyping.  SDAT integrates three-dimensional ship and vehicle data, enables users to place and visualize vehicles and their path within ship vehicle stowage spaces and on ramps, enables collision detection based on user-defined clearance, assesses physical fit and loading paths, takes measurements, and visualizes emplacement of vehicle restraints in a 3D virtual environment.  SBIR Award Details.
